Gluten-Free Quinoa Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 150 grams Quinoa

  • 250 grams water

  • 1000 grams potatoes

Sauce:

  • 75 grams ground roasted beef

  • 50-60 grams tomato paste

  • 50 grams butter

  • 50 grams olive oil

  • 50 grams water

  • 5 grams dried basil

  • 4-5 grams paprika

  • 50 grams water

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Quinoa:

  1. Rinse the quinoa and soak it in cold water for at least 1 hour.

  2. After 1 hour, rinse it again.

  3. Add 250 grams of water to the 150 grams of quinoa in a pot and cook. Let it cool afterward.

Potatoes:

  1. Boil 1 kilo of potatoes. Peel and mash them while still hot.

Sauce:

  1. Melt the butter in a pan.

  2. Add the olive oil and tomato paste to the melted butter and stir.

  3. Add the roasted ground beef, paprika, basil, and salt, and mix well.

  4. Add 50 grams of water and stir.

  5. Let the mixture come to a boil, and once it starts boiling, it's ready.

Finishing:

  1. Mix the potatoes, quinoa, and sauce together. Once well combined, shape the mixture into meatballs.

  2. Cook the meatballs in a lightly greased pan over medium heat. Once the surface forms a crust, they are ready.

    (If you have a non-stick pan, you don't need to pour oil.)

  3. It is recommended to serve them with pickles on the side.
